Full Playing Membership:
A full member enjoys all the privileges of membership and has voting rights.
9 Hole Membership:
Members may play with spouse/partner on Opening and Closing days, Twilight’s or by Committee invitation. Handicaps are to be doubled for 18 hole play (maximum handicap of 40). Four twilight cards can be used for handicapping. This category of membership has voting rights and can be nominated for the Club Committee.
Country Membership:
To qualify, applicants must reside more than 40 kilometres (by road) from the golf course. Country members may use the clubhouse facilities, attend Club events and play the course. This category of membership has no voting rights and cannot be nominated for the Club Committee. Country members are restricted to non-competition play and events specified by the Club Committee.
Summer Membership:
The playing period for this membership is restricted to the period of 1st October to 1st March of the year following. Summer members may play on any day of the week as stipulated in the Hauraki Golf Club Programme. One 18 hole round of golf per day plus a twilight event or similar. Summer members cannot play in any formal club competition or Open Tournament event hosted by the Club that invites visitor participation. There is no entitlement to ‘hole-in-one’ payments, however a mounted golf ball will be presented in recognition. Inter-club reciprocal rights will not be available.
Limited Local Membership:
A local limited member must reside within 40 kilometres of the golf club and pays half of the normal green fee every time s/he plays. A local limited member has a handicap.
Social Membership:
Social members may use the Clubhouse facilities and attend Club events. Members are subject to green fees before playing the course. This category of membership has no voting rights and cannot be nominated for the Club Committee.
Junior Membership:
Members must be under 19 years of age as at 1st January to qualify as a Junior Member. Members may use the Clubhouse facilities, attend Club events and play the course. This category of membership has no voting rights and cannot be nominated for the Club Committee. On attaining 19 years of age and on 18 or better handicap, a Junior member enjoys the playing rights of a full member.
